As summer comes to a close, I finally have a chance to pause, catch my breath, and reflect on what has been an incredible season for Vacations by Celeste.
This summer has been one of the busiest and most rewarding travel seasons I have experienced. I’ve had the privilege of helping clients travel both near and far, creating unforgettable memories across the globe.
Over the past few months, clients have explored destinations including Phuket and Singapore, wandered through the charming cities and countryside of Italy, and enjoyed domestic adventures in Austin, Texas; Nashville, Tennessee; and Charleston, South Carolina. Of course, there were also multiple cruises sailing throughout the Caribbean, allowing travelers to relax, reconnect, and experience some of the world’s most beautiful islands.
I’m excited to share that 2026 is proving to be a record-breaking year for my agency, and the second half of the year is shaping up to be just as busy.
One of the highlights has been spending countless hours researching and customizing a month-long journey through Norway for clients traveling in August and September. From dramatic fjords and scenic drives to charming coastal towns, this itinerary was truly a labor of love.
The adventures continue this fall with clients heading to Switzerland and Amsterdam, and preparations are well underway for one of the most exciting projects of the year—a destination wedding in Barcelona, Spain. Twelve of the couple’s closest friends and family members will be making the journey, enjoying not only Spain, but also time in France, Italy, and Morocco as part of this incredible celebration.
And those are just a few of the trips currently in progress. Behind the scenes, many more exciting vacations are being researched, planned, and customized for clients who are ready to explore the world.
While helping clients plan their travels, I also make it a priority to stay current on travel trends, destination updates, cruise industry news, and emerging opportunities. The travel landscape is constantly evolving, and staying informed helps me provide the best possible recommendations and experiences for my clients.
Why Fall Is One of the Best Times to Travel
Many travelers think of summer as peak vacation season, but fall is actually one of my favorite times to travel.
In the United States
Charleston, South Carolina is spectacular in the fall. Temperatures become more comfortable, crowds begin to thin, and the city’s historic charm shines through. It’s the perfect time to stroll cobblestone streets, enjoy waterfront dining, and explore the rich history of the Lowcountry.
Abroad
Portugal is one of Europe’s best-kept secrets for fall travel. The weather remains warm, the summer crowds have departed, and visitors can enjoy beautiful coastal scenery, world-class food and wine, and incredible cultural experiences at a more relaxed pace.
Looking Ahead to 2027
Believe it or not, now is the perfect time to begin planning your 2027 vacations.
Whether you’re dreaming of:
- A European river cruise
- A luxury ocean voyage
- An African safari
- A destination wedding
- A custom multi-country itinerary
- A family vacation or reunion
- A bucket-list adventure
The best opportunities often come to those who plan early.
Many cruise lines and tour operators are already releasing 2027 itineraries, and early planning provides the greatest selection of accommodations, flights, excursions, and pricing.
As I look ahead to the rest of 2026 and beyond, I am grateful for every client who has trusted me with their travel dreams. It is truly an honor to help create experiences and memories that will last a lifetime.
If you’re looking for a bespoke vacation designed specifically for you, I’m ready to help.
Let’s start planning your next adventure.
